As part of my research for Wartime Investing, I was very interested to learn that in Pokemon’s first season, there was an episode that never aired in the U.S. because watching it caused thousands and thousands of Japanese children to have nausea and seizures. Interesting weapon? Mass Hysteria? Simply bright flashing lights?
