Sam Ali recently attended the Texas Renewable Energy Policy Panel Discussion hosted by Houston Renewable Energy Group (HREG). They are a non-profit volunteer organization and the local chapter of the Texas Solar Energy Society. The discussion focused on federal and state policies and how they’ve impacted the development of renewable energy in Texas. The experts included Vanessa Tutos of EDP Renewables North America; Charlie Hemmeline, the Executive Director of the Texas Solar Power Assocation; Bill Barnes, the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs for NRG; and Rachael Cornick, the Executive Director for HREG.
